Legal notice

Legal Notice and Terms of Use

Last updated: 28 September 2026

These terms apply to the public website at illokomngt.io, which IL LOKO MANAGEMENT LTD operates. They set out the company details the law requires us to publish, a summary of how we handle personal data, how you may use the site and its content, and the limits of our liability for it. This version applies from 28 September 2026.

01Company information

The Company, Limited Liability Partnership and Business (Names and Trading Disclosures) Regulations 2015, the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 and the Provision of Services Regulations 2009 require us to publish the following details.

  • Registered name: IL LOKO MANAGEMENT LTD
  • Legal form: private limited company
  • Registered in: England and Wales
  • Registered with: Companies House
  • Company number: 16516206
  • Registered office: 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom
  • Email: bookings@illokomngt.io
  • Website: illokomngt.io

You can check these details free of charge on the public register at Companies House: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/16516206. The register is the official record. If any of the company details above differ from it, rely on the register, and please tell us so that we can correct the site.

In these terms, 'IL LOKO', 'IL LOKO Management', 'we', 'us' and 'our' mean IL LOKO MANAGEMENT LTD.

Our work is technology and business development: artificial intelligence, machine learning, custom technology, product expansion, sales growth, market entry and business-to-business relationships. We also work with the entertainment industry. Our technology partner is Coding Panda, which is based in the United States. We call Coding Panda our 'partner' to describe how we work together; this does not mean that we are in a legal partnership. Where an enquiry concerns a project we may deliver with Coding Panda, we share the relevant details with them, as explained in 'Privacy and your personal data'. We provide services under a separate written agreement with each client.

02About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the public website at illokomngt.io in any of its language versions (the 'site'). They do not apply to any password-protected area, which has its own terms and privacy notice. Please read these terms before you use the site. If you do not accept them, please do not use it. You can print or save this page for your records.

The site is free to use and has no user accounts. These terms do not cover any services we provide. Each engagement is governed by its own written agreement, which prevails if it conflicts with these terms.

The site is intended for businesses and professional users and is not directed at children. Some parts of these terms apply differently to business users and to consumers. Where they do, we say so. A consumer is an individual who uses the site for purposes wholly or mainly outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

Our Privacy Notice explains how we handle personal data. The sections 'Privacy and your personal data', 'Your right to object' and 'Complaints about personal data' below give a summary.

These terms are available in English, Spanish, Italian, German, French and Traditional Chinese. Each translation is intended to have exactly the same meaning as the English text. If there is any difference, the English text prevails, except where the law requires the meaning most favourable to a consumer to apply.

If a court decides that any part of these terms is unlawful or unenforceable, the rest of the terms stay in effect.

03Privacy and your personal data

We, IL LOKO MANAGEMENT LTD, are the controller of the personal data described here. This means we decide how and why it is used, and we are responsible for it under UK data protection law: the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for information stored on your device, the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 (PECR), each as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. We have not appointed a data protection officer. For any question about your personal data, contact us at bookings@illokomngt.io.

Our Privacy Notice at https://illokomngt.io/privacy/ explains all of this in full. In summary, this is what happens to your information when you use the site or write to us.

When you visit the website

When a page loads, our hosting provider, Netlify, Inc. (United States), which acts on our behalf, receives the technical details that reach any website when a browser requests a page, such as your IP address, your browser type, the page requested and the date and time. We call these details 'request data'. Netlify uses request data on our behalf to deliver the page and to keep the site secure.

Netlify is the only organisation that receives request data when a page loads. Every typeface on the site is served from our own site (Great Laker and Quicksand) or is a font already installed on your device, and the site loads no fonts, scripts or other content from Google or any other third party.

Your language and theme choices

If you open a page at a language address, such as illokomngt.io/es/, the site shows that language. Otherwise, until you choose a language yourself, the site uses the first language in your browser's language settings that it offers (English, Spanish, Italian, German, French or Traditional Chinese), and English if none of them is set. This happens entirely within your browser. It makes no network request and stores nothing. On small screens the site also reads your device's time-zone setting, only to choose which of our offices' local time the clock shows; it is used for nothing else, and it is not read once you have switched the clock off with its × button.

The site stores nothing on your device unless you make a choice yourself. It can store exactly four items, and each is written only by your own action:

  • 'il-pick' (cookie): a two-letter code for the language you chose, for example 'es' for Spanish. It is set only when you choose a language in the language menu, and it lasts 12 months from that choice, after which your browser deletes it. It is not renewed when you visit the site again. It is a first-party cookie for illokomngt.io and its subdomains (domain .illokomngt.io), marked SameSite=Lax and, because the site is served over HTTPS, marked Secure, so that it is sent only over encrypted connections.
  • 'il-pick' (local storage): the same language code, saved in your browser's local storage for this site at the same moment as the cookie. It has no expiry date and stays until you remove it.
  • 'il-theme' (local storage): the word 'light' or 'dark', saved in your browser's local storage for this site only when you click the light/dark button. It has no expiry date and stays until you remove it.
  • 'il-clock' (local storage): the word 'off', saved in your browser's local storage for this site only when you tap the × on the clock that small screens show. It keeps the clock switched off, and while it is set the site does not read your time-zone setting. It has no expiry date and stays until you remove it.

These items are used only to show the site in the language and theme you chose, and to keep the clock switched off if you chose that. They contain nothing that identifies you, they are not used for analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling, and other websites cannot read them. Like any cookie, the language cookie is sent back with your browser's requests to illokomngt.io and its subdomains, where our hosting provider receives it on our behalf, but the site uses it only within your browser, to choose the language. A one-line note inside the language menu, 'Your choice is remembered on this device.', links to the Privacy Notice.

You can object to these items, or remove them, at any time and free of charge:

  • do not use the language menu or the light/dark button, and nothing is stored;
  • click 'Forget my choices' in the footer of any page, or on the Privacy Notice page. One click deletes the cookie and the local-storage items and reloads the page in the default theme, with the language chosen again from your browser's language settings, as described above;
  • clear both the cookies and the site data for illokomngt.io in your browser settings. Clearing cookies alone is not enough, because the site would still read your language choice from local storage.

Once your choices are removed, the site again chooses the language on your device, as described above, uses its default theme, and stores nothing until you choose again.

PECR allows a website to store information on your device, or read information from it, without asking for your consent where the only purpose is to let the site's appearance or functioning adapt to your preferences, provided that you are given clear and comprehensive information about that purpose and a simple, free way to object. The language cookie, the local-storage items and the reading of your browser's language settings and, on small screens, of your time-zone setting serve only that purpose, which is why the site does not show a cookie banner. If you prefer the site not to use these settings, choose a language in the language menu and tap the × on the clock: from then on the site uses your choice of language and no longer reads your language settings, and, once the clock is off, it no longer reads your time-zone setting. If we ever add anything else that stores or reads information on your device, we will update this page and the Privacy Notice first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before using it.

When you write to us

The contact form does not send anything to us or to any server of ours. It prepares a message that opens in your own email, ready for you to review and send: in the email app on your device, or in Gmail or Outlook on the web. If you choose Gmail or Outlook, what you wrote, with your name, your company and the topic you selected, is passed to Google or Microsoft as soon as the new tab opens, even if you then decide not to send it. The same applies to any web-based email service your device is set to use for email links. Each of these services handles it under the terms of your account with it, independently of us. Nothing reaches us until you send the email yourself.

When you send us an email, whether you use the form or write to us directly, we receive your name and email address, your company name if you give it, your message, any attachments and the ordinary technical details that come with any email. We use them to reply to you, to discuss and assess any project or business relationship you raise, and to keep a record of our correspondence. Our email and IT service providers process this data on our behalf.

Sharing with our technology partner, Coding Panda

Where your enquiry concerns a project we may deliver with our technology partner Coding Panda, which is based in the United States, we forward the relevant details to Coding Panda directly by email. These are your name, your business contact details, your company, your message and any attachments. Coding Panda uses them only to assess and work on that enquiry or project with us. We do not share enquiries that have nothing to do with such a project.

What the site does not do

The site does not use analytics, advertising, social-media pixels or plugins, embedded videos or maps, fingerprinting or any other tracking technology. It has no user accounts, login, newsletter or payments. We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions about them, and we do not sell or rent personal data.

Transfers outside the UK

Netlify and Coding Panda are in the United States, so the information they receive is transferred outside the UK. UK law allows this only where the information remains protected:

  • Netlify, Inc. participates in the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, known as the 'UK-US data bridge', and UK law approves transfers to US organisations certified to it. Netlify's data processing agreement with us also includes the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses in case the data bridge stops applying.
  • For Coding Panda, we have put in place one of the two sets of contract terms that UK law approves for such transfers: the International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA) issued by the ICO, or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
  • Where any of our email and IT service providers processes data outside the UK, we rely on UK adequacy regulations for the country concerned or, where there are none, on UK-approved standard data protection clauses.
  • If you use Gmail or Outlook, Google or Microsoft may process your draft and your email outside the UK under the terms of your own account with them.

You can ask us for a copy of the relevant safeguards by writing to bookings@illokomngt.io.

Our lawful bases

You do not need to give consent to browse the site or to contact us, and we do not treat either as consent. We use personal data only where UK data protection law gives us a lawful basis to do so:

  • to deliver the site and keep it secure, we rely on our legitimate interests in running a working and secure website;
  • to remember your language or theme choice, to the extent that it counts as personal data, we rely on our legitimate interests in showing the site in the way you chose. Storing it on your device is governed by PECR, as explained above;
  • to reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project, we rely on taking steps you have asked for before a possible contract, where you would be the party to that contract yourself. Otherwise, for example when you write on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and developing business relationships;
  • to share the relevant details with Coding Panda, where your enquiry concerns a project we may deliver with them, we rely on our legitimate interests in assessing and delivering that project with our technology partner and, where you would be the party to the contract yourself, on taking steps you have asked for before entering into it;
  • to keep a record of our correspondence, we rely on our legitimate interests in handling follow-ups and in establishing, exercising or defending legal claims, and on our legal obligations where the law requires us to keep records, for example for tax.

You do not have to give us any personal details. Doing so is not a legal or contractual requirement, but we cannot reply to you without an email address.

How long we keep personal data

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship: up to 24 months after our last exchange.
  • Correspondence with a client or business contact: for as long as the relationship lasts and then normally for six years after it ends, because a claim under a contract can usually be brought within six years in England and Wales.
  • Financial records, such as invoices and the emails that support them: six years from the end of the company financial year they relate to, as HMRC requires.
  • Records of privacy requests and complaints: three years after the matter is closed.
  • Request data: kept by Netlify for the period of Netlify's standard log retention for our plan, and then deleted by Netlify.
  • Details forwarded to Coding Panda: kept by Coding Panda only for as long as it needs them to assess and work on that enquiry or project with us, and then deleted or returned to us.
  • Items on your device: your browser deletes the 'il-pick' cookie 12 months after you chose the language, and the local-storage items stay until you remove them.

We keep information for longer only while it is needed for a legal claim, a dispute or an HMRC check that is still open. When a period ends, we delete the information or anonymise it so that it no longer identifies anyone.

Security

The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) and has no accounts, login or server-side forms that could expose visitor data. We use established providers for hosting, email and IT, on terms that require them to protect the data they handle for us. We limit access to enquiry correspondence to the people in our company who need it, and we share it with Coding Panda only in the circumstances and under the safeguards described above. No email can be made completely secure, so please ask us to agree a safer way before you send confidential or commercially sensitive material.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal data and ask us to correct it. In the circumstances the law sets out, you can also ask us to delete it or to restrict how we use it. Where we rely on a contract, or on steps you asked for before a contract, you can ask for the data you gave us in a portable format. If you ask us to correct or delete details that we have forwarded to Coding Panda, or to restrict how they are used, we will pass your request on to Coding Panda, unless that proves impossible or would involve disproportionate effort. We respond free of charge within one month of receiving your request. If we need to confirm your identity, or need more information to find what you are asking for, the month runs from when we receive what we need. For complex or numerous requests we may extend this by up to two further months, and we will tell you why within the first month. If a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, we may charge a reasonable fee or refuse it, and we will explain why. You also have the right to object, as explained in 'Your right to object' below.

The Privacy Notice gives the full details.

04Your right to object

You have the right to object. Where we rely on our legitimate interests, you can object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to our use of your personal data. This covers the request data our hosting provider processes, our remembering your language or theme choice, our handling of an enquiry sent on behalf of a company or other organisation, our sharing of relevant details with Coding Panda, and our record of correspondence.

To object, email bookings@illokomngt.io, ideally with 'Privacy' in the subject line, or write to us at our registered office. You do not need to use any particular wording. We will then stop, unless we have compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or we need the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

To object to the storage of your language or theme choice, you can also simply click 'Forget my choices' in the footer of any page, free of charge. It deletes all three stored items at once.

05Complaints about personal data

Complaining to us

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have a legal right to complain to us. You can email bookings@illokomngt.io, ideally with 'Privacy' in the subject line, or write to us at our registered office. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days of receiving it, look into it, keep you informed of progress and tell you the outcome without undue delay.

Complaining to the ICO

You also have the right to complain at any time to the UK data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You do not have to complain to us first, although the ICO recommends giving us the chance to deal with your complaint before you go to it. From 30 September 2026 the regulator becomes the Information Commission, which continues to be known as the ICO. You can complain online at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/, find more information at https://ico.org.uk, or call the ICO helpline on 0303 123 1113.

Going to court

You also have the right to go to court if you believe your data protection rights have been infringed, and to claim compensation for any damage you have suffered as a result, which can include distress.

06Using the site

You may use the site to learn about us and our work, and to contact us. When you use it, you must not:

  • use it in any way that breaks a law or regulation, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the site, to the servers that host it, or to any system or network connected to it;
  • introduce viruses, malware or any other harmful code, or attack the site in any way, including with a denial-of-service attack;
  • interfere with the security or normal working of the site, or put an unreasonable load on it;
  • use automated tools to copy, scrape or extract content from the site in bulk, except for ordinary indexing by search engines or where the law permits it;
  • use the contact details on the site to send spam, unsolicited marketing, or bulk or automated messages;
  • pretend to be us or to act on our behalf, or falsely suggest that we are connected with you or that we approve or endorse you.

You may link to any page of the site, as long as you do so fairly and lawfully and do not falsely suggest that we are connected with you or that we approve or endorse you. You must not show the site inside a frame on another website or present its content as your own.

If you break these rules, we may block your access to the site.

07No offer and no advice

The site gives general information about us and our work. It is not written for your particular circumstances.

  • Nothing on the site is an offer to provide services, or an offer or invitation to enter into any contract, transaction or investment. Any engagement is made under a separate written agreement.
  • Nothing on the site is professional, legal, tax, financial or investment advice, or a recommendation to take or not take any action. Before you make a decision based on anything on the site, take your own professional advice.
  • Descriptions of our capabilities, services, markets and partnerships are general information given in good faith. They may change, and they do not promise any result, availability or particular terms.
  • Contacting us by email, including by an email prepared with the site's contact form, does not create a contract or a client relationship.
  • If you want to share confidential information, or ideas or proposals you wish to protect, please contact us first so that we can agree in writing how they will be handled, for example in a confidentiality agreement. Please do not send them until that is agreed.

08Intellectual property

We own the intellectual property in the site, or use it under licence. This covers the text, the design and layout, the graphics, logos, photographs and other images, and the code. This material is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.

The names IL LOKO and IL LOKO Management, and the IL LOKO logos, are used by us to identify our business. The name Coding Panda belongs to its owner and appears on the site only to identify our work with Coding Panda, our technology partner. The typefaces served from the site, Great Laker and Quicksand, belong to their respective owners and are used under their licences. Any other text you see is shown in fonts already installed on your device.

You may:

  • view the site and share links to its pages;
  • print or save copies of pages for your own reference or for use inside your own organisation, as long as you do not change them and you keep any copyright or source notice;
  • quote short extracts, as long as you name IL LOKO and the site as the source.

Except as allowed above, you may not, without our written permission:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, adapt, translate, sell, license or distribute the site or any substantial part of its content, including the photographs;
  • use any photograph, graphic or other image separately from the text it accompanies;
  • use the names or logos IL LOKO or IL LOKO Management, or anything confusingly similar, in a business name, domain name, social media account, product, advertisement or trade mark, or in any way that suggests a connection with us;
  • remove or change any copyright, trade mark or source notice;
  • use the site's content to build a database, a dataset or a competing product, or to train or develop software or artificial intelligence models.

We expressly reserve our rights in the site's content with respect to text and data mining, including for training artificial intelligence models, so that no one may carry out such mining without our permission wherever the law allows rightsholders to make this reservation.

Nothing in these terms stops you doing anything the law allows without the owner's permission. Beyond that and the uses listed above, nothing on the site gives you a licence or any other right to use our intellectual property or anyone else's. To ask for permission, email bookings@illokomngt.io and say what you want to use and how.

If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, tell us at bookings@illokomngt.io. Please say which content you mean and which right is affected. We will look into it promptly.

10Accuracy and availability

We take reasonable care to keep the site accurate and up to date. Even so, its content may go out of date or contain errors or gaps, and we do not promise that it is complete, accurate or current. We may change, correct or remove content at any time without notice. If you need to rely on our company details, check them on the Companies House register.

The site is free of charge and is hosted by a third-party provider, Netlify. We do not promise that the site, or any part of it, will always be available or will work without interruption. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site at any time for business or operational reasons, including maintenance.

We take reasonable steps to keep the site secure, but we cannot guarantee that it is free from faults or viruses. You are responsible for the equipment, software and internet connection you use to reach the site, and for using your own virus protection.

11Our liability

This section and the two that follow set out the limits of our liability to you in connection with the site. Our liability for any services we provide is set out in the written agreement for those services.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law that applies.

12Our liability to business users

This section applies if you use the site for business purposes. The site is free and gives general information only. Subject to the liabilities listed in 'Our liability' above, which we do not exclude or limit:

  • we exclude all implied conditions, warranties, representations and other terms that may apply to the site or its content;
  • we are not liable to you for any loss or damage arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the site, or your use of or reliance on its content, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, even if the loss was foreseeable;
  • in particular, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue; business interruption; loss of anticipated savings; loss of business opportunity, goodwill or reputation; or any indirect or consequential loss or damage;
  • we are not liable for loss or damage caused by a virus or other harmful material that affects your equipment, programs, data or other material because you used the site or downloaded anything from it.

13Our liability to consumers

This section applies if you use the site as a consumer. If we break these terms or fail to use reasonable care and skill, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen, or if both you and we knew it might happen when you used the site. We are not responsible for loss or damage that was not foreseeable.

The site is intended for businesses. If you use it as a consumer, we are not liable to you for business losses such as loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

14Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms, for example to reflect changes to the site, to our business or to the law. Each version shows the date from which it applies. Your use of the site is governed by the version in force when you use it. A new version applies only from its date and does not affect anything that happened before then.

When we make a significant change, we will say so at the top of this page for a reasonable period. You can ask us for a copy of an earlier version.

This version applies from 28 September 2026.

15Law and courts

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising from or in connection with them or the site, are governed by the law of England and Wales. This includes non-contractual disputes and claims, where the law allows that choice to be made.

If you are a business user, the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, but we may also bring proceedings in any other competent court to protect our intellectual property or to stop misuse of the site.

If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live outside the United Kingdom, you may also be able to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you live. Choosing the law of England and Wales does not take away any protection you have under mandatory rules of the law where you live.
